Rooms

One of a kind views of Harpers Ferry Gap

River Room

One queen bed that sleep 2 people with amazing views of the river and mountains and includes a coffee station and smart TV. Large sliding glass doors lead to the private balcony with seating so you can ditch your party and enjoy a romantic time with views to die for. The River Room and Bunk Room share the south stairwell and a bathroom with a double vanity and shower/tub.

Grand Suite

One king bed and one queen bed that sleep 4 people. Views of the river and mountains. Coffee station and smart TV. En suite bathroom with double walk in rain showers, jacuzzi tub, a panoramic view and a smart TV. This bathroom is large, you could drag a mattress in this bathroom and sleep on the floor and still have one of the best rooms in the house. The Grand and Queen Suite share the north stairwell.

Queen Suite

Two queen beds that sleep 4 people. One sitting area with a couch and a coffee table. Views of the river and mountains. Coffee station and smart TV. Full bathroom connected via the hallway with two vanities and a large soaking shower/tub. The Grand and Queen Suite share the north stairwell.

Bunk Room

Two extra sturdy bunk beds (rated for adults up to 350lbs) that sleep 4 people, each with their own side table, a coffee station and smart TV. The River Room and Bunk Room share the south stairwell and a bathroom with a double vanity and shower/tub.

Indoor swimming pool heated to 85F / 30C year round, with a 75" TV, voice controlled dragon fountain and accent lighting.

Toiletries, linens, hair dryer for each room, pool towels, and a laundry room with an ironing board and large LG washer and dryer.

wifi and ev charger

High speed internet (500Mbps) available throughout the estate and an EV charger (Tesla 48A NACS/J1772).

  Inside

  • Blarney is custom decorated for each season and holiday.
  • There is a pool table, board games, and toys for little ones.
  • Coffee stations, fully stocked with coffee, creamer, cups, etc.
  • Smart LED TV with complimentary subscriptions available for Netflix, HBO Max, Hulu / ESPN+, Disney+, Curiosity Stream, and Peacock. Other apps that you can login with your account include YouTube, Prime, AppleTV, and more.
  • Alexa digital assistants, which are used for home lighting control, music, information, games, and more. There is a reference guide in the kitchen drawer.
  • NOTE: Alexas may be unplugged by guests, but please don't move or reprogram them. Using voice or Bluetooth, Amazon unlimited music is playable in each room or everywhere.

  Outside

  • The Blarney Swing: Enjoy our swing overlooking Blarney's unique view, perfect for taking photos or just relaxing.
  • Charcoal BBQ Grill: We provide charcoal and basic utensils.
  • Fire pit and adirondack chairs: We can provide firewood and a fire starter kit. Please do not use the fire pit if it is windy or raining.
  • River rafting/tubing, zip-lining, winter tubing and more: River Riders is a local company that offers river rafting, tubing, zip-lining, and more. They are located 5 minutes away from the estate and one of their water launch areas is walkable from the estate (tickets from them are required).
  • Wild Life: There are number of different animals who call the area home, including deer, bald eagles, foxes, rabbits, and even turtles and turkeys! Unfortunately, we have plenty of insect life as well, although we do our best to keep them away and provide bug spray as well.
  • Farm animals: We have farm animals on the property, including chickens and ducks. You can visit the animals, just ask, but please do not feed them without the caretakers present or let them out of their pens.

If you plan on arriving to Harpers Ferry earlier in the day, we are happy to help with recommendations for restaurants and/or activities to help pass the time.

I also work as a Realtor, helping buyers and sellers in WV, VA, and MD. I specialize in investment properties, especially short term rentals like Blarney. Reach out to me at my web site if you'd like to know more.

On site we have chickens, ducks, and turkeys and love to show our younger guests how to feed them, just ask! We can also recommend many local attractions, private chefs, and wine tour excursions.
